The parkway is a great thing... I used to live a few miles from it up in boone, nc and went up there all the time to just drive and go hiking... btw, where were you at in the pictures?

Skyline Parkway. Those pics were all taken starting at the Front Royal Entrance heading south about 50 or so miles. I turned around because the deer started getting a little too friendly (read stupid).

 

Still no pics there... (sigh).

Looks a lot like the Blue Ridge parkway around Asheville, NC.

 

how high up was that? how was the 8 at those altitudes .. i remember my prev car would go a bit over 65 in colo

 

No, for the last two months or so, it has been raining almost every day. I used to love the rain, and even wanted to move to Washington, but now that I have experienced this much rain for so damn long, I'm cool. Anyway, nice pics.

 

it was between 1200 and 3500 feet, so not that high up. I definitely didn't notice any major changes in the car's behavior.


Maybe if I had a supercharger I'd get better performance at high altitudes. I hear that's what they're designed for.










(The last two sentences are an inside joke that only one person will get, so don't flame me for "not knowing how a supercharger works" )
