First things first, I didnt get 'stuck' with anything. No one put a gun to my head and said buy an RX8, I knew what it was and knowingly purchased a handling car as opposed to a mustang which wouldve been cheaper.......

With money, you could make an RX8 fast also.......with money. That RX7 obviously is not stock.

Different car, different purpose. If you hate the RX8 so much and love street racing so much than go buy a Honda and GTFO.

This rotard guy is a troll, right? Whose to say that the old rx-7s are more reliable than the 8... Some might be, but some 8's might last longer than some 7s. The pic that illustrates "boost in - apex seals out" didnt start because of the rx8.

edit: another thing... people typically warn you to not get a 7 as a daily driver and to be prepared to be your own mechanic or learn how to.

 

^^^^ that is very true, my biological father had a rx-7 . and growing up half the time he'd be having a headache with leaks and seals.

but then again i dont speak to him much anymore , so i wouldnt know.


thats why i got the 8 instead of the 7. my 8 has had no problems with maintenance (knock on wood). and i push the car alot.

sure the 7 was faster and lighter. but in no way do i think it was more reliable .

I owned a CRX that would have walked that POS. What's the point? It was still just a CRX and that is still a POS muscle car. Any car can be fast with enough money.
