Several pics of my '04 Sunlight Silver
Had some time to kill last Saturday, and I had just waxed my car the week before, so I thought I'd take a bunch of pics. I had planned on posting an ad on Autotrader (I just have this craving to get a Porsche 928), but seeing these pics is making me have second thoughts. I love how the car looks in black and white....and was amazed by the quality of pictures my little digital takes. I sized them so they aren't too huge. (600x450)
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

good job on the pics, i would have to say it would be hard for me to pick from a 928 or the 8 i have a 944 at one time and wrecked it and i dont know if i could give up the 8 for one now or not

Yeah...it's been an ongoing dilema for a long time. The 928 has been one of my favorite cars for as long as I can remember, and I almost had my mind set on finding a 90-91 GT, but scared myself away after researching maintenance costs. So I opted for a totally brand new model car that had no history. I'm smart.

nicely done. i also have the same car minus the wing. seeing your pics makes me realize that my s-techs actually lowered the car. your car would look PERFECT with them. what waxing products did you use? I havent really been satisfied with the finish from either of the 3 sets i tried, then again I think it might have to do with the fact that we have silver cars though...

I just use Meguire's NXT. I even use it on the lenses. It lasts for a relatively long time and seems to "mature" over a few days, and the gloss gets deeper. It's simple, and you can do the whole vehicle and then wipe it off, versus "wax on/wax off". Just don't get it on any of the plastics. It's a bitch to get off...if you even can. Speaking of: I know there was a product someone talked about a long time ago that cleaned the residue off the plastic. Can anyone refresh my memory?
