Said goodbye to my 8 today
 

well the time finally came to say goodbye to my rx8. the lease is ending in a few days (yes i modded a leased car) so i turned her back in today. i miss it terribly already but in the long run it was best that i turned her in. i was in an accident before all the modding happened so it wasnt worth it to keep. i had a ton of fun in the car and i could probably never find another car like it. i love my new car so far and i will post up some pics hopefully in a few days. thanks to everyone for the info and for the laughs. here are some pics i took before i gave her back

OMFG say it aint so!!! Ur engine bay was the shit!!!! So where is the hood? Im gonna miss this BB.....:( :sadwavey: what did u end buying now? or leasing? a BMW? seems a lot of 8 owners are moving on to BMW's :suspect: RotaryRasp, ROlllrBlades, & some other Z4, but then again... that X drive must be nice.

the only hint you guys get is the new car is german but not a bmw. i'm gonna take pics tomorrow so you'll see soon enough lol

rod, sides and hood have been gone for a while. rims i still got but mazda sort of stained them so they need some tlc and maybe a clay bar i don't know. at this point i'm looking to ship them sorry man. already went through a fiasco shipping big items and almost got jumped in the process lol.

zumn, hood went to another local BB owner. no didn't get a bmw.

i may be back in a 335 soon too not the x drive though ... i want a white on red one if i can find it at the right price im buying it not ill deal wit the fiancee later she already said no to my f430 ... lets see who can guess what he got ... i say audi s4 a4 or c300 ... if you sell the rims let me know i know someone who wants .. i mean if you ship lol

MBZ??= Which one? MBZ grills are soo sexyy i just finished a job at a MBZ dealership... shotblasted the mechanics shop floor to take off the old epoxy....also their lifts got repainted, new snap on tools, new A/C system, new paint on the walls, better lighting....etc.. the works...
PORSCHE= $$$$$ doubt it....
VW= Dunno... depends on the model... R32 Rabbit?, GLI, GTI
OPEL=?

the bodyshop that "repaired" my car after the accident ordered the hood so i'm not sure where they got it from. and the engine cover i cut it out and put the lexan on myself but i had a bodyshop paint everything

i love the car so far. i've actually had it for 5 months now and only have a few complaints. i wish that it had a little more power but i couldnt afford the s5 so i had to go with this one. but it does pick up pretty nicely and she does move. it handles pretty good but like ray said its a boat so yea it does handle a bit heavy but it does hold turns really good. interior is comfortable as hell and i love the mmi setup. so far only complaints i have are the pedals are a little too much to the right for my liking. if they were shifted left about an inch or two they would be perfect. also the clutch is super soft so if i shift quick i can feel the pedal hit my foot on the way up. and lastly audi for some weird reason doesnt include oil dipsticks in the 09 and up models so if i changed the oil i'd have to go by the electronic display
