Hey i just got a safety notice in the mail a recall on something todo with safety .... by the time i ahd a chance to call the dealership they where closed ...i will call tomarrow and post what they say the problem was ...has anyone else received the notice ....

Yea i got the air bad update while ago ......all it said was .....SAFETY NOTICE CALL AND MAKE APT... A.S.A.P VERY IMPORTANT .....they gave me no detail at all .... i will post and let you know whwta they say

Take it from me I also own a GM product, ALL safety recalls list the EXACT problem / part effect. At least all the recalls sent to me on the GMC did, even it was something minor. Sounds like the dealership wants to sell you something you do not need. If it truly was a safety issue you can find it on this site http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ as well as this link http://www.finishlineperformance.com...ocs/index.html. The only recalls on the RX-8 are for the air bag and the “dynamic damper” a part on 6-speeds. I would call Mazda North America before you go to the dealer, something is up
