i wonder how the led bulbs would look showing

 

These look awesome. I want to see some more pics though before I consider buying these.

 

am I the only one that think these look like a piece of crap?
they look cheap IMO
why do you want to see the back of the side markers?

then again, this is coming from a person who doesn't have side markers
deleted side markers=win

 

I'm torn. With the as-is black plastic back I kind of agree with you. I see potential if you did something interesting with the back. If you chromed it, it may look kind of like Porsche's clear side markers. I need to see more pics close up though.

Ye i was right. THey look better on White 8s. It pulls it off better. BUt maybe if something is done to the black back.. maybe it would look better. Meh. What you guys think ?

 

I think it looks good on the whites, I like the contrast. I really wanna see them on a black one though, I think it'll look pretty stealth.

 

I can't believe I'm the first to post pics (on a TiGrey!). I'm still not 100% sure if I like these better than the "clear" white ones, but they are growing on me more and more. They definitely have an understated look and I think they match the headlights really well.

My only real concern is whether they'll start to leak. Also, I need to get a new multi-LED bulb, since my existing bulb is just not that bright and the markers have no reflectors like the Mazda ones. Oh, and one minor thing to note for MS bumper owners: they're not quite the same shape as the JDM white markers, which kind of follow the lines on the Mazdaspeed bumper. Not a huge deal, but it's something to mention.

to me, it really depends on what color the rx8 is. if you have black and you want a blacked out look then it would be perfect for that.

those actually look pretty good on the ss and i also think they match the headlights alot better but i have a grey black scheme going so smoked ones work better for me

hmm, pretty ugly imo. actually, look good from far away, but bad up close. rx8strakes said somewhere that the true clears match the headlight housings better...they do i guess, but the headlight housings have a ton of detail in there that is cool to look at...these just look blah and kinda ugly seeing that one little puny bulb in there!! i bet tinted (to prevent seeing that bulb) would look best b/c they you get the benefit of flush-ness w/o that uglyness of seeing in...

Ye BB should stick with the original clear corners. Other colours can make it work with these ones.

I don't like regular clear corners either but i wonder how these would look with the backing painted VR. Only one way to find out I guess.
