New feature I am excited about: Thread filtering. You can now filter out (not show) threads that have been started by a particular user. Should show up on devices in the next hour ;)

So I'm here a bit late but I've been using the app for a while now. I'm getting a "parse error" when I try to search the forum. What's up with that? If this was previously discussed I'm sorry. I'm still reading all of these posts while eating dinner

I am getting a parse error upon searching, but it's not the same app unless you have something to do with the iPhone version too. I read the title and didn't see the part where it says for android.

Anyone else having the issue again where if you have your default page preference set to "last" and you open a thread that is only one page it doesn't show anything? I thought it was fixed (i believe riwwp reported it a while back) but I guess not. will work on it this weekend if I get a chance.

I had experimented with this a few months back but couldn't find a way to properly implement it. I may revisit this in the future, but for now it isn't possible :(

Yeah, I still get it from time to time. It's not the same problem as before, though perhaps a similar problem from the same code block. Like right now, if I open the dumb question thread or the new owner's question thread, the page count is 1 short, and it opens the 2nd to last page, saying that it's the last page, and i can't make it advance one more to the last page. It will happen consistently until the thread is on a new page, then it may or may not continue.

thanks. the app if running flawlessly for me lately. I know I lose service easily inside my work building which caused a lot of problems before. whatever you have done lately seems to have solved that for me. keep up the good work

Big updates last night in regards to memory usage. I noticed that on some picture heavy posts the app would crash due to an out of memory issue. I have diagnosed and implemented a new image loading procedure that will hopefully reduce the amount of memory used by the application, and also load images on threads faster. I hope this helps people.

And RIWWP, i think i finally figured out the issue with the blank threads. Let me know if you experience that issue again.

The thread filtering saved me this morning, blocking out vendor thread bumping spam :) I'm liking that feature.

Sweet! Glad it helped. I'll see if I can add some more constraints in there (filtering by age in hours, filtering by a 'subject contains text', etc)

edit: I will also add a banner under the title to let you know how many threads were filtered out based on your current rules.

New loading UI was implemented... I think it looks a little nicer than before :)

Set the post count to 50 post per page, set last page in the app settings, and then try to get to the last page of B@W and Dumb Questions threads. I still can't get to the last page of either through your app. Even the page count is 1 short of what the web count is. Re-discovered this earlier this morning.
