rx8 and wrx in the snow.
pic of my 8 and my friends' wrx.
after taking these pics we hit the freeway at 100mph+. Both cars are pretty dead even when it comes to pull at those speeds. (dry pavement)
I did find some backroads still covered in snow and drifted around at low speeds with the traction control off. Snow tires make a huge difference and the car feels very stable with them on. I regained control immediately when I purposely threw the tail out. This is the first time I drove the 8 in the snow, before it i had an a4 quattro. This car with winters on feels pretty damn nimble over ice and snow.

- THEIR (Mistu) SERVICE IS SUB-PAR!!! The dealer I bought my Galant from in 01 closed and no other dealer would accept the dealer extras i got (oil changes, tire rotations) Then I had an issue with my radio where I need the programming code. Of course I couldnt find it. Called Mitsu they said go your dealer where you got the car they will give it to you free. My dealer didnt exist! so my ONLY option as per mitsubishi was to pay another dealer to find my code! It would cheaper to get an aftermarket stereo installed!
- Mitsu Motors has been struggling financially and loosing backing from some of their big "partners" not a good sign if you plan to buy a car.
- If you autox there is a history that Mitus has been voiding the warranty of EVOs by searching the SCCA autox results.
- Subaru has been doing great over the past years and are putting alot of money into the WRX. Bang for the buck its hard to top the WRX.
- looks are objective... many say that spoiler of the EVO is hideous others love it.
- FINALLY , EVO or Legacy GT...... you pick.... if you havnt driven the Legacy you dont even know what your missing. If you are going to pay for the EVO u might be better off checking out the Legacy GT, it will blow you away.
there are just a few... to add to mugatus price factor.
