Wow. He must not be good at driving. Maybe some people should not drive. Also he must be so horrible at driving because he was driving an automatic G and still lost control.

dam brothat really sucks. luckily no one got hurt which is the main thing. Insurance will take care of it. Your "ding' isn't too bad. That is repairable within a weeks time.

The owner of the G35 is screwed hard core though. Thas allot of damage to his car, on top of that damage to your car, the property damage....what a retard....

G/L getting everythign straightened out ASAP bro....

That does suxor, but you did win and a win is a win - even if you trade paint.
Street racing is bad, MK?

It is nice to hear about an incident like this ending in folks taking responsibility for their actions - especially when they are that dumb/unlucky/undisciplined.

Damn. That kid needs to go to driving school. Luckily no one was hurt.

His insurance will probably go through the roof after this accident, but it doesn't look like he's hurting for money.

Good luck on getting everything fix.

by being 19 and not really knowing how to drive

it's actually kinda weird, after thinking about it. so he must've really floored it to lose control like that, and he must've been driving w/ traction control off. otherwise the car should've saved him. i thought you can't completely turn off traction control on g35s. but then again, if he wasn't smart or quick enough to step on the brakes, nothing matters...

Yeah I was telling him about a BMW driving school that I took a year ago, and told him that he should definitally look into it.

Yeah that thought also crossed my mind. It was an automatic, so he didnt dump the clutch or anything...He must of had traction control off, why? I am not sure, because he definitally should have kept it on. his tires were squealing from when the light turned green, and didn't stop squealing untill he ran into the wall. I asked him if he had gotten any air before he hit the tree, because he went over a curb that was 5-6 inches, and it was a steep curb too.

2007 G35............................................... .................................................$ 28,000.00
Taking the necessary steps (dinner+movie) to get in the hot girl's pants............................................. ........................$200
Seeing the embarrassed, disgusted, "ur never gettin any from me" look on that hot girl's face after you wreck ur G35 trying to out manuever a superior handling car...........Priceless

So I'm not sure how this is possible. I have a 2006 Automatic G35 as well and I can't get the tires to squeal like you said they did even when flooring it in first. Was the asphalt slick? Maybe his tires were bald. Secondly, the traction control should take over. You can turn it off with a button on the bottom left, but why would he do that if he isn't at the track/trying to drift (though in the automatic, that seems kind of stupid). I call epic fail on his ability to break. He probably floored it rather than smashing on the break.

The road was as dry as can be, it was probably 80 degress out at the time. I checked his tires as well, and they were pretty new. Only 18,000 miles on them. I am not sure how his car got so out of control, being an automatic, but some how he found a way to do it.

Yeah i asked him about that too, because with how smashed in his front was, i was very surprised his airbags did not deploy. Somebody said something about if your not going over 35 mph, then they won't deploy? I'm not sure if that's true or not but...maybe they were defective.

my girl had an 06 g35 automatic. definitely enough power to break the tires loose from a stop. traction can be completely turned off too.

they're slow to react too, they aren't as nimble as say an 8 or s2k
