That's age discrimination! Y'all are just trying to keep us younger ones down! There is no justice in this world for us young ones! There are plenty of middle aged geezers who street race and who can't appreciate this car and others...

P.S. The first priority of this post: smile! The second priority: keep age discrimination in the back of your mind, because it definitely can be a problem in a lot of different settings.

I love my 8 and i would never race it..... however when i am cruzin and some riced up civic comes up next to me and revs his junk exhaust i think there is aline crossed to where he needs to be taught a lesson. (make him feel those extra RPMS).
Although i really dont agree to what he is saying, street racing is a lot better than burning out and drifting. There is nothing wrong with feeding a little speed to your ride every now and then.. just dont do it too often. and not on open roads lol

hey listen i have been away for a while now.... but im not going to let you people put street racing down how do u think that this all started... look back when the "older" people were growing up in the 50's and even earlier than that and street racing (for those of you that are not that experienced in the field) is not only "drag racing" it can also be circuit racing, burning out, and drifting, these all started on the street so all the things that you "older members" are flaming about look at where they came from
ps. i used to street race i do not particiate any more but i still go to them..... and i love it..

So it's ok to street race and risk your life and the life of others? What if your racing going 80 mph and there comes a child on a bike. NO way you could stop. So saying street racing is ok is foolish because its not. I guess Im the only underaged person that understands why street racing is not good.
Phoenix_Master, if you really want to see some RX8s racing on the streets I guess you could look on kazaa lite cause they had some vids there. Or google?

Hey heris maybe your view of street racing is somewhat out of perspective. street racing on the road IS stupid thats why we dont do it on the road. We do it by ourselves on a closed street where there is NO other cars. I have no clue what gave you the idea that we race where there are tons of cars. When i pull up to race (Not so often) There is someone ahead telling us there is no one in the way. so before you flame something you dont know squat about maybe you should find some info and quit acting like you know everything.

When have I flamed someone? Just saying was stupid to street race. That's what the tracks are made for. And majority of people that street race are the ones that hit it on the green light. Im sure phoenix_maser meant street drag race video. And again this isn't a flame just my opinion.

Just in case someone actually thought about answering the question....despite the fact that your all right...
I have a japanese video of an A-Spec RX-8 that really goes head to head with a Honda S2000, Honda Integra (RSX Type S), and Alfa, and a Volkswagon R32/36.....
Who do you think wins? I wil try to put it up on my server.....email me if you would like the link, I can't have the world hitting my server these days.

I got all kind of street racing vids it's just that I wanted some RX8 vids to my collection , and I never race where there are a bunch of other cars and such, racing on a closed or empty street with another car is fine by me + where Im from there are no drag strips...

Street racing is a touchy topic on most forums these days, at least the forums who give a darn. You have to keep in mind that cops are getting smarter these days and believe it or not some PDs actually employ undercover cops to pose as forum members just to read the posts and find out whare people are doing there street racing. Just a little FYI
