Posting pics for everyone to see from our monthly LAX Meet last night. You guys might remember my thread from a couple months ago, about LAPD showing up to our meet. lol Well this time no cops but we had 30 cars show up. @.@ Had a great time and stoked having all these people.

The Nissans are taking over the meet! lol Lotsa comments like "Ok, nissans win" and "This WAS an RX8club meet" lol Nonetheless, great having so many people. And I'm even more impressed cause even after everyone had eaten and most gone home, the ones who stuck around were all 8s. No 8s had left yet so this gave us an opportunity to head on back over to the roof to take a few more shots of just the 8s ^.^



(BTW: Forgive the quality on these shots, my battery was dying and I was hurrying. Didn't see the yellow lights to the right; they messed up the lighting in those pics X.x)

Funny story - and a bit of a hijack . . . sorry.

Out on Long Island ~ 6 weeks ago my GF and I were riding along the beach roads (Jones Beach area) and there were ~ 20 Maximas (obviously a meet of some sort) pulled over w/in a few miles of each other. And then the few stragglers who "almost got away". What a giant swarm of cops along that trip. Musta been racing . . .

Had me keeping a real close eye on the MPH w/my *cough* questionably *cough* legal 8.

Yeah Mazdaspeed is always the most popular kit at a meet. But hey, who can blame them, it's also one of the cleanest ones out there.
