Just a picture of my RX8 and a mates new 350z, what do you think? Also what do you think about me tinting the side and rear windows with an R3 rear wing.

Also what is your opinion on front splitters and moving the UK numberplate off center. Just wondering because everyone has different opinions. Post some links because everything helps!

Nice. Lose the chrome gas door. Yes on the tint and R3 wing.

 

you can never go wrong with tint. and i like the 3rd brake light on the bottom, did you do that?

Yeah i think im going to tint it at the end of the month, ill probably keep the fuel cap for the moment unless i can grab one from a scrapped winning blue rx8. The light is comes on with the fog lights, so at the moments its pretty much always on. With the tints im going to do 70% which is pretty much the most we can have in the UK... boo!

Where should i put the numberplate, i hate it covering my grill but cant keep it in my window for ever haha!

I'm so used to seeing the rear view window tinted that it looks strange with no tint.

Im looking for a replacement gas door but im going to remove one from a broken rx8, biding my time... got it tinted now and decided not to get the wing as the euro lip is cool. Just ordered a front air dam, looking forwad to fitting that!

 

the brake light your referring to is actually a rear fog light that was standard on the euro/jap spec rx8's

 

^ It's a safty thing. Not only do you need to worry about the people infront, but also the people that are going to back-end you when it's really-thick fog.

I think they look brilliant as well, its a real shame they didnt use them over in the US. Just took some more pictures! Got the tints now, but played around with the photos a bit. At the moment im waiting for my front air dam to arrive, very exciting. Just need to work out a way to put them on the internet, the file size is too big...

As for your questions... Yes on tint and R3 wing. I would go with the tint first... And I have always thought that the off center plates look pretty good. But like you said, that just comes down to personal opinion (unlike tint. It is not just opinion that tint looks good, it is a fact haha)

 

Yeah that picture quality is awful... it was a rush job at night.

I have already tinted the car, looks awsome. As you said, its a fact it looks better, its in the dictionary :-). Anyway pics from yesterday, was taking loads of pictures because i spent ages waxing it haha. The pictures look faded because im playing around trying to be arty...
