Back end looks like a Civic hatch.

I noticed your title says you're an administrator . Completely unrelated, but I'm getting a 'Check Engine Light' which Advance Auto Parts Code reader displayed as ' Lower Intake Tuning Valve- Low Voltage'. I have a 2005 AT Grand Touring Aero Kittted with Mazdaspeed Cold Air Intake & Cat-Back Exhaust. I'm used to having the light come on under hard acceleration in heavy rain. It always resets by the next day. This is different , although I've noticed no changes in drivability, the light has remained on. It does not blink. I found (and lost ) a thread where the problem and various fixes were discussed. Could you direct me to that thread? Or better still, I'd be happy to hear your own experiences on the appropriate thread. I have 102,000mi on it, still love the damn thing and am loath to give it up. Regards |

FYI: That's called a 'Muzzle Brake' You see it on anything from Howitzers to 50 Cal sniper rifles ( they look very similar as they perform the same function; expelling a portion of the propellant gases backward to reduce recoil and as you put it; muzzle climb ).

I kinda like it!
Besides, it's just an idea. In practice the whole car would be caged, so structural support isn't an issue. Plus, all the handling and fun of an 8, but with a useful hatch? Win-win to me, but maybe I'm one of few. Anyone have a better looking wagon rear to graft onto an 8? I'm surprised no one commented on the low-life stance. |
Any opinions on it being switched from having the suicide rears to being strictly a two door?

It would need a good bit of time in a design room but love the idea of a shooting brake 2dr RX8, then again i love wagons anyway!
