But you look so delicious, flame grilled baby!!!!

bse50 10-17-2012 02:47 AM

Reminds me of both the mazda 6 and the alfa 159sw.
Buy them since you'd be cutting some structural chassis parts to achieve that look.

Leonheart 10-17-2012 03:02 AM

Kinda reminds me of a Subaru hatch back

godesshunter 10-17-2012 06:02 AM

Fugly

Arca_ex 10-17-2012 12:24 PM

I kinda like it!

monchie 10-17-2012 06:03 PM

It looks like the front of the rx8 and the back of a Mazda 3...lol

Anyway, I think it looks good though...

usafrotard 10-17-2012 07:00 PM

2/10. would not bang

O_Bollox 10-17-2012 07:07 PM

Reminds me of the old 70's era Reliant Scimitar or the Lotus Elite from the same era

ShellDude 10-17-2012 07:09 PM

no thanks

9krpmrx8 10-17-2012 08:27 PM

Shooting Brake? Is that a cool way of saying hatch back? No bueno.

I agree what the hell is shooting brake? Also nay on the idea but to each your own

iwearmykswiss816 10-18-2012 02:54 AM

Yeah i was really hoping that that this was gonna be like the rx8 chuck norris would be driving in delta force. Greatly disappointed. Just buy a 3 or 6 hatch and put a rotary in it.

ZarkoRX8 10-18-2012 01:43 PM

:( me no like

Slidin8 10-19-2012 03:41 PM

a shooting brake is a term used for a 2 door station wagon

originally refers to a car that would take hunting parties around hunting estates

The Ferrari FF is a "Shooting Brake"

I never heard of it since now. I wonder why they called it "Shooting Brake"?

Slidin8 10-19-2012 10:47 PM

i dunno, i watched a documentary on the Ferrari FF called "Supercars" on Nat Geo and i just wrote what they said on that doco word for word

ShellDude 10-20-2012 09:21 AM

Yup... Velociter ... doesn't look all that bad in person either... far better than the stretched eggish look of the FF.

O_Bollox 10-25-2012 09:17 AM

Back in the day, the British term 'Shooting Brake' meant a car which one could literally shoot at wildlife.
The back seat could be flipped or likewise reversed, such that one could sit facing the open tailgate ( which also formed a defacto canopy for deflecting the notoriously crappy fall /winter weather) and remain warm & comfortable ( nursing an irish coffee ofrflask) whilst blasting away at hapless waterfowl. ;^))

The MGB GT was a 'Shooting Brake' design. If you look at the vestigial backseat is mounted, you'll see what I mean.

alnielsen 10-25-2012 09:20 AM

Shooting Brake to me is a device to keep the muzzle from climbing after a round is expelled.

I expelled a round for this design. Love it.

Bremma 10-25-2012 09:18 PM

That's a pretty decent Photochop but I'm not a huge fan of the idea of an RX8 Shooting Brake. The Ferrari FF is a much better design and even then I'm not fussed on it.
