He's from Malaysia so there's probably a different cultural mentality. Unless you're doing it for sponsorship reasons I think putting stickers on your car is a juvenile thing to do--not that there's anything wrong with that mind you. My wife likes to things like that but I'm a more low-key kind of guy. Of course anyone who's met me at car meets probably thinks otherwise but that's 'cause they haven't seen my car.

i think theres a difference between having graphics on your car and having stickers.
we call em "steal me stickers".
Advertising all the expensive parts you have in/on your car
i think summit sells a package of like 5 random performance stickers, the poser pack

Full disclaimer: while my wife likes the graphics, I had most of the input regarding what actually went on her car. She didn't even know about Pikachu until it was on the car; I came up with the idea, searched for a suitable graphic and sourced a shop to create and apply it. Same with the manufacturer decals on the side skirt. I think I did a nice job with the overall look of the car, and combined with the license plate (PIKA GRL, another one of my ideas) makes for a great "chick car". It works great for her, but it's still not my style.
In one sense I think "ricers" are posers who like the look of performance but have no idea what actually helps or hurts. My goal in putting together my wife's car was to make what I call a "real ricer" car--one that has the look of a performance car and the actual mechanical parts to back it up.
