Hey guys just wanted to share a video of my new sound system in my RX8. Thanks to all the tutorials on here that made this possible! And if anyone is looking for a custom made box, my girlfriends brother can build one for you. He built mine. He is a great carpenter. See i dont know if I want to carpet it yet cause I dont know what I am going to do with it. I was planning on flipping it towards the backseats and place a dark knight emblem on the back and either painting it or wrapping it in something. But then again its not like i pull up to places and pop my trunk to show people my speakers. I just dont know if its worth the hassle. They might not look pretty but they are doing their job.

 

Is it actually custom made and tuned for those speakers, or did he just make it so it would fit the trunk?

Adding something to the sides of it so it looks more flush might be an idea before you carpet it and decide how you want it to sit in there.

 

You really need to cut that box down, unless you have it pulled out for your video:

 

No its just built to fit in the trunk. What size are those speakers in your picture? They look more flush then mine. I have 12s and he made it so there was a bit of room between the back of the subwoofer and the box.

 

That's some serious bass. I went with a bit more simplistic layout.

 

Mine are 10-inch Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S810s.
