Damn, I wish I had a nice RX-8 model like that to play with in Lightwave, but with GT appearance package like mine so I could try to animate some stunt scenes with HD video footage or something

I think I downloaded some of those a while back, still haven't got around to trying to mess with them. I used to have a Dodge Stealth and I had a pretty decent free model of it. All I ever made was a pretty cheesy animation where it floated up and the wheels folded under, brake lights opened to reveal little jet engines and it flew away. Cheesy little animation but it was fun at the time, I'll have to see if I can find the vid, lol.

All I noticed was the lack of rear accents and the rear brakes

JK... that was an awesome illustration; would love to be able to do that

I think before people criticise... Show what you did that is better.... or even as good

I agree would have been better to show an animation composited into a real shot though.

Honestly, I could care less how 'easy' or 'hard' it is or isn't. I didn't post it up as a "omg this guy is awesomez!", since I knew from the beginning that whoever modeled the 8 is probably different from whoever designed the animation engine, and there are likely other people tossed in the mix as well. I posted it because it was a realistic animation of an 8 outside of a video game with a clearly separate 3d model that might become available to mess with in your own application.
