if you cant read for whatever reason or see the connection to my post let me explain it for your thick little brain..
iwas replying to the post above mine.. and keeping within the boundaries of what the thread is about... stats state that the RX-7 slightly edges the RX-8 anyway...
whether or not it was meant to be compared to the RX-7 is another topic.. if you want to start a topic on why your FD cannot be compared to your 8..then by all means go ahead..

I purchased my 1993 CYM R1 with 4 miles on the odo in the spring of 1993 for $29,900.
I sold it in 2001 with 170,000 miles for $28,200.
Of course it was a bit different than when I bought it... :-)

i don't see why this post has everyone so vexed. I found the video to be quite entertaining and educational. I"ve never seen an 8 and a 7 go at it neck and neck.. So I found the vid to be quite enlightening

^^^That to me says that a 7 will still beat an 8 even with the turbos off. If that isn't what you meant, my bad.

the RX7 's engine..was deigned for boost.. ive never heard of a NA FD engine... but my guess is .. the 8 would prolly take it on...since this engine is all about NA!!!
factory vs factory.. the 8 would get beaten.. but id like to see a boosted 8 against an FD with relatively equal power taking in the weight difference and similar suspension mods on a track with straights and turns.. now that would be realllllllly exciting!!!!!!
