Cool RP Supercat Vid

Just a short clip to give you an idea of the sound. I have the GReddy exhaust and just installed the midpipe today. Obviously the video doesn't do it justice but it's something.

Enjoy

EDIT: Link is now working

Is this the straight through midpipe or the SuperCat pipe?

I've been wanting that same setup and my SuperCat pipe should be here thursday, going to be getting the greddy in about a month or so.

Any increase in HP/torque that you can tell?

I know it's supposed to give around 9hp gain with catback/pipe.

If that is the sound you are getting with the Supercat pipe, I can't wait! That's the kind of exhaust note/loudness I want!

If it is with the straight through midpipe, then, well, living in California sucks :-( and hopefully I'll get that some sound with the Supercat pipe.

Could you try to do a soundclip of how it sounds from the interior? I know there is already one floating around, but I think that was with the Racing Beat exhaust.

That's with the straight through RP midpipe though, not the Supercat pipe, which I am hoping this is what the guy has.

Well to let everyone know, this is the RP Supercat WITH the cat.

I forgot my digicam at home when I did the install, but my friend has a pic of the stock and the new midpipe side by side. It's quite a difference. Once I get that pic I'll add it to my original post.

Also the the new midpipe weighs AT MOST half of what the stock unit weighs.

The nice thing about this unit is at normal cruising speed (6th gear 70-75) there really isn't much increase in noise over the GReddy exhaust. However, when you mash the gas, you know it's there.

I plan on doing some more videos whenever I get a chance

If I get a chance, I'll take it out tonight and run through the gears to give you an idea of in car sound.

nice sound,
I have the the same cat/midpipe combo, but with the trust titanium exhaust...
the sound is the same in the begining but at wot and above 5-6k rpm my car sounds a bit different...
I'm trying to make a small vid, but my photo camera is a Sony V1 and shoots only mpeg files which are huge!
you had a divx file, which program did you use, flashmpeg? sorry I'm not an expert in video editing...

Just download a trial version of Dr. Divx. It may not be the BEST program to use but it sure as hell is the easiest. Plus an "extended" trial can generally be easily attained
