Rotor Pond

Abbid, Poolsizenaz and I met at Boxcar's place to go drive the twisties at South Mountain (Phoenix, Arizona). See this thread:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=49585

Anyway, Boxcar showed us the pond he had dug in his back yard. Take a look, it's a rotor. He said it was unplanned and he realized it after he was done! :D

You know you got it bad when you unintentionally make everything in the shape of a rotor

LOL! Boxcar said that his friend who helped him dig the thing told him only if you keep the rubber ducky in there! I'd say it's worth the help!

Hey Shaz thanks for the pic. I really wish I could find my card reader so everyone could see how freaking big it is. It measures out to +/-15' on the sides and 2'5" deep. Only took 3 of us 6hrs to dig it but it's taken almost a week to get 3/4 of the dirt out of my yard. That's 5+ full size truck loads of dirt

It's weird what this car has done to me. In HS I always dreamed of owning a Supra. I was by no means a rotary head but some how my yard has a giant rotor and my office ended up being grey, silver, dark wood and black just like my 8. LMAO at myself.

Yes that's my friend Brian's rubber ducky. lol Don't ask me what a 6'5 250lbs+ viking looking MF is doing with a rubber duck but it is mine now. He's actually the one who first said it looked like a rotor. Guess the birds eye view helps a bit.

Nasty rotor scum pond? More like freshly dug. The rain washed some of the dirt back in and I have no way to drain and clean it till my pump arrives. Then I have to trim the liner, install my pump and filter, do some masonry work and landscaping.
