wow pics and vids came out great guys.....kimmis car looks like a jgtc wide body in the vid.....very sikk!.....im upset i missed the caravan but im glad i was part of making it happen behind the scenes

 

hopefully next year ill have a nice mount for my cam. i wasnt even in the vid cuz i was ahead of the caravan with the fast people lol

i homemade a mount to record my drag racing from inside the car. this is what i did.

i took a 2x3 and cut it to the appropriate length, measuring seat to seat. i think its 43 inches. i put it across the seatbacks and marked the middle of the hole in the rotor accents.

i took plywood and cut 2 triangles the size of the triangles in the seats. i drilled a hole in the middle.

i bought really long thin bolts (5") and tons of washers. and some nuts.

i threaded the bolts through the triangles, through the seat and into the 2x3. when it came out of the 2x3 i put a washer and a nut on it.

after that was all squared away, i noticed the angle of the 2x3 (it sits flush the seats and the seats are angled back) and marked the middle. i then drilled a hole through the 2x3 at the appropriate angle. when i had previously bought the bolts i had taken my videocamera to the hardware store and they found the appropriate bolt. i put this bolt through the 2x3 and bolted it into my camera.

the view is pretty good.

hahaha, thats why I asked what exhaust you had on because I was driving behind you watching all the fire *****, i made sure my brother got a shot of it.

Im running the racing beat exhaust and a stock cat with my turbo setup so I only get pops from my exhaust.
