two questions:

1. how much did it run you?

2. Is it my imagination, or is that guy painting your car, with your sunroof wide open?!

It set me back around USD 1000 for the raw materials. the airbrush around 300 bucks. I saved a lot on labor, since I did it in my own shop.
I also added carbon fibre trunk in additon to the already CF hood, wing and mirrors. I also bought a brand new set of 20'wheels and air suspension. I'll take more pix later after I finish polishing the whole thing.

No it's not your imagination, I opened the sunroof coz I wanted to get the whole thing sprayed thoroughly. I did wrap everything else though, not to worry. hahaha... My only regret was not taking the sunroof off first. I kinda did the upholstery first which should've been later after the re-spray.

surprised you didnt go with their heat activated paint from alsacorp.

even a "black to clear" coating over what you have would make it trick car!

The heat activated is called exposure. It's like the Aussie T-shirt "Hypercolor" right??when u paint it, u'll get a normal black but exposed to sunlight you get a diamond rainbow glitters around the heated area.
I have it already. I also got the chrome color one. but i still like their mystic color. gives more striking impact when you speed across a highway. The 6 Dimensions color shifts around the edges viewed from many different direction. I'll try and post it in youtube when ready. hopefully done by this saturday. It sure look a lot better in person.

no, there is another american product which change from one colour to another colour or change from a single colour to clear by heating up a section of the panel.
its unlike alscorp where you can see those glittery bits (eww...). one of my ex-business associates and us debuted a car last eyar that has these type of paint effects..... it was a show stopper.

ooohhhh..I know, the Eclipse right. One of the guy here have it already, It's ok. But at night it look like any ordinary color and the downside is, it only last for around 9 months. Is it the same one we're talking about??
Aniway I'm quite happy with the new set up, I also notice that one of the australian member did a similar set up like my old one. He also did it in my friends shop eurolineauto.com.au right...?

Your car was and still is one of the sickest 8's on this board. The new paint job looks amazing, and I cant wait to see it all wrapped up! Good luck with it all and keep up the hard work.

Looks okay but there is a ton of orange peel. Do you plan to wet sand?
