Oh wow, that looks great - I've been thinking of doing the same with my car. Did you replace the reading lights with the red LEDs as well? If so, can you still actually use them to read at all?

Yes I changed the map lights and yes you can actually use then to read. I was worried but I can still read with them.

For the maplights, dome light and door lights probably about $25.

I got them off ebay. For the map lights and door lights you need 194 and its DE3175 for the dome light. Make sure they are LED's or else its not gonna be as dark as mine.

Yeah, I was defintiely planning on getting LEDs, I hear they're fade-resistant where coated bulbs will turn pink over time. Thanks for the help! I'll get some pics of my own up once I actually manage to get it done.

I did mine shortly after getting the car. If you add the footwell lights it looks even better. I think that it cost me like $15 bucks for the bulbs. I think I got them from autoillumination.com.

for the map light, did you use the wide angle ones, or the focused ones?
nice and cheap, I'm even replacing the trunk bulb. going with super white back there, the OEM bulb is just too weak

For the map lights u have to be very careful on what led's to buy cuz they might not fit. Make sure they are the same dimension as the regular bulbs.

You want to use the dome light to read? But the dome is bright enough for the inside of the car. But if you want to read with the dome light might be hard. The map lights is better to read since it has clear lenses and its focused down.

Yeah i just got them too(red). so far i like. Got the bulb ones from pepboys at first and hated the color. I then ordered the LED's off ebay and there much better. I would suggest these to anyone who is looking for a cheep upgrade, only spent like 16.00 for the set of three. (did not do the map lights)
