What's the big deal with the east vs west? All he did is change a few details with the paint, what's the big deal about that? As Bryan said, the west is far ahead with customizing/tuning cars than the east.. Also, I seen a very similiar design before, and wasn't impressed at all.. Sorry, just my .02!

 

I actually think that looks pretty good, but I like Chrism's 8 better.

i can honestly say i have never seen this car before.....but why do you sound like your typing angrily?.....you almost sound like your dishing out haterade....there is no reason or need for it and makes you look bad...i am well aware of the SoCal tuning scene as I have been in it when i lived there.....does it make me less of a tuner living on the other side?......also if you look in the details i did not just change the paint on the car i lost most of the CF and changes some body pieces as well.....

East Vs West will always be around because we are the new up and coming scene....and new comers will always try and knock the old kings off the block.....seriously do you think if there was no love for the culture would Greddy have put in a DC in my state?......the world is small and growing so you guys cant have the lifestyle forever...its gonna get here too.....cant we all just get along?

the car is nice. but it doesn't look similar to chris'. chris has less going on with paint scheme and decals and more going on with aggression and class. also... this car doesn't look like a west coast car to me... looks like a European car, judging by the plate... so i don't see your point. just my pair or pennies.

btw, can you post some more pic of your front bumper with your license plate on

This new look is sick. It's not for everyone but so far at least 90% of the feed back is positive what does that say to you? And it is from all parts and both sides of the coast.

The whole E vs W was just a friendly competition no need to get panties in a bunch. Besides you guys have your style and we have ours. Learn to appreciate and learn from someone else. Remember there is always someone bigger badder and better...

Chris - not to hi jack your thread but just to rep the east coast!!!

peeps need to realize that our climate on the east is much different lending to much less in the numbers...everything is relative, so if you look at the percentages...we are right up there!!!

heres another east coast pwnage!!

 

Was there much difference in mounting the GTO wing? Same holes? New Holes? Repaint the whole trunk deck?

 

the trunk was repainted because of the shaving of the emblems but the holden monaro wing has 4 holes not compatible with any of the 8's holes

 

Believe me, by no means am I an angry person whatsoever.. I'm just pretty blunt about ****, and I don't sugar coat it to sound nice about it. Don't take it wrong in any way, I'm just not a fan of the new things you've done to your car. I love the old style paint job, and the old black wheels. I'm just one small opinion, which shouldn't matter much to you. The only big opinion that should matter is your own, just keep doing your thing man.

yeah chris is recoverying right im sure he would highly appreicaitate that chliff.

 

I give you props for being different and innovating your own style instead of copping others. I love the wing, not too much and really flows with your rear bumper, just not feeling the "mustache" on the front end.

I do think it would look really sick if you continued the gray from the hood line all the way down the side of the car to the wing, that would be nice.

 

he appreciates all ideas given to him currently is out resting from surgery and will be back soon.

But he does have a few ideas in mind...over all he is happy w/the new look but his mind never stops and always things of new things to improve. A bit of a perfectionist...

On that note next time you speak to him ask him "how his muppets are doing?" - inside joke.
