Found this video, which I think was from a Mazda Rev It Up event, recorded May 17.

Thanks for posting this, brothervoodoo. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it, considering how much interest there has been concerning what the colors look like in person. I'm betting that this clip is pretty close (if not dead on) to how the color looks in person, and how only directly lit surfaces are light blue, and surfaces receiving less light appear dark blue. Very cool. Especially looking at the doorjambs and stuff, you can see what the "basic" color looks like. I planned on shooting some short video of my velocity red to capture the paint details for this forum. Also, I'm gonna try to make some really good mp3s of engine sound - at the exhaust, in the car, in front of car, under hood - at idle and under rev. Sorry for ranting....:D

 

They person did a nice sweep of the car and it really shows off the curves, something that many still photos can't quite seem to capture correctly.

 

yeah the car looks fantastic in that vid. it really shows how nice that blue is. i don't mind how light it looks sometimes as it sorta looks like a gunmetal blue. looking at it i almost wanted to change my color. but too late for that. thanks for the vid and sorry i didn't say so sooner
