I got my 2004 MT used. One day I was cleaning the inside of my car when I see two holes on this part (See pic). Now only two things can do this,
One a Vamp lol
Two a guy with a drill

What do you guys think he had right there?

Hard to say what he had since there isn't much room for anything there....

 

Might be for a like cell phone/ ipod holder that brights it by the shifter. Thats all i could come up with =]

 

Ahh maybe for a AMP? or SUB? but why? I cant see any wires that are taped up or look like they where tapped into.

I have the knee pad and like it a lot but mine is attached with Velcro on not screwed. get a pad off ebay and the holes will be covered up.

 

I would lean towards the kneepad. Not sure why it would be screwed in, but possible.
