Project 8 HD
Thanks guys, I have some pretty "interesting" filming ideas planned for this upcoming shoot, so I'm getting pretty excited about the final product. And no I'm no longer in NJ, I work out of Boston now, but I'm going to be back in the NJ/NY city area for a month or so starting December 22th, at which point I hope to get some filming done while I'm there. But thanks, I'll let you know if more 8's are needed.
Just to get a sense of member enthusiasm, would anyone from the NJ/NY area like to assist in the making of this film. Considering the amount of work it takes to properly set up professional shots, more help is always welcome.
Just wondering because your vid is truly inspiring.
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. Whats your budget look like? I have a pretty good idea of the best cameras from each price range.
honestly i'm lookin' for something a $400-$600 (ideally) however i'm willin' to burn 7bills at the most. I was lookin' for something that can do still lift photography too but iono - i'm still on the fence. Thanks for the help!
Thank you. Feel free to post where ever you want, I have no problem with it. It only becomes an issue when people download the video, cut it up, and re post as if it were their own....
-Atilla, I'd wait a bit longer for the price to drop on a EOS Rebel T1i EF-S before investing in anything else. Canon DSLRs are really changing the game, they'll be your safest bet.

Atilla, IMO, I'd save up for the 60D if you want to have fun with stills AND video, I've had mine for a couple months now and I love it, addicting camera. The tilting screen seems gimmicky, but it is something I use a lot especially when playing with video. As far as still photos go, it's borderline pro-level... a lot of pros have picked one up for their spare camera body. Of course, I'd love to have a 5D mark II, but I'm still just a hobby shooter for now and can't afford it

* To all those waiting patiently, my filming schedule has taken a hit due to the blizzard. I should be back on track shortly.
