great shot. Looks like the photo is taken from above the car with the roof open. Very nice!

You've gotten good at you hobby! That's a great pic.

I guess I'll play - it's basically stock, tho I installed the 'footwell lamps' myself - w/the help of the rewire DIY.

my entire center console was sanded down smooth and painted with the exterior paint professionally. The rotor and rx8 is vinyl. A buddy of mine has a vinyl shop and did it for me for pretty cheap. and thanks!

its a "sticker" kit.

I use the word sticker because that is what some people here choose to call it. It is a urithane type plastic with an adhesive backing that you place over your factory parts.

I am extreamly happy with the quality, only problem areas are the real tight bends. like the rear door handle surrounds. I have had nothing but compliments on it from people that see it in person. I get a few flamers here on the RX-8 club but interenet trolls are nothing new.

I got it from NYC dashes I belive it was about $300. There is a thread in the multimedia section that has dash kit pictures from Snowfl8k (silver carbon fiber), Kwescott (Red), and myself (yellow).

the one thing I like about this "sticker kit" compared to paint is its a whole lot easyer and it does not chip or wear thin like most paint.

at least Steakboy did it right and had the parts sanded and professionaly painted with "real" car paint.... good job steakboy

dont you hate it when you type soemthing long then it gets lost?

anyways, I said something like thanks!

I like things that stand out and scream "LOOK AT ME" which is why the Yellow RX-8 is the on 8 I wanted. some people just are not looking for that.

They have a kit that is piano black just like the window switch surrounds. I think that would look very clean and classy. I would love to see an RX-8 with that kit!

Kwescotts looks very cool his red kit goes well with his red seats and red door inserts. I wish my seats were yellow!

Snowfl8ks looks awsome in person, the way the light hits that silver CF is cool. the silver CF kit is not for me as it seems a little girly. it kinda looks like little diamonds all over the car. but for a girl (like snowfl8k) it is PERFECT. it matches her and her car to a T.
