Just like the title says. I am looking for a different shift **** for my AT and wanted to see what kinds you have.

I did, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I am looking for pics of them specifically on an AT, not for a 6-speed because it looks different than it does on an AT. Some of them are higher up on the AT. I don't want something that looks good on a 6-speed, but bad on an AT.

The 8's AT shift ***** are different from other cars. There's no lock release button on it so to my knowledge, any MT Shift ***** would work on it as long as it fits.

 

yea, any MT Shift **** will work...... its the same threading

 

Does anyone know if you can trim the rod piece which connects to the shift **** to make it shorter?

 

I thought about it, you would have to rethread the shaft.....
the reason I didnt do it is because its a pricey mistake if it dosent turn out right....

 

the thread sizes are different on an AT. a MT **** from an 8 will not fit, but there might be others that will. i'm not sure what the thread size is though.
