Pollen has attacked

Well, it's that time of the year when I hate being a car enthusiast. My 8 is covered in pollen and I want to wash it, but I know it is useless. The following day it will be right back to being covered in green dust. Here are some pictures, but I must say, it looks much worse in person. Who else has to deal with this annoyance?

I seriously feel your pain. I have a black cherry RX-8 and all this **** is getting on my car around fifteen minutes of driving after a wash.

That's nothing. Stuff around here gets dominated by tree semen!

It rained yesterday, so my car looks a little better. I do realize other people have it worse, but come on none of use should have to suffer this! I noticed the other day that for some reason my car looked the worst out of everyone in my complex. It's not just because mine is black either. I think mother nature is out to get car enthusiasts.

For those with a Busy Bee Car wash in their area, many have a $19.99/month special where you get "Unlimited* Car Washes"
*(60 washes at 2/day limit if im not mistaken)
All you need is clearance to get into the wash.. LOL

Well that's out of the question for me. Any car wash around me has ridiculously steep entrances so I can't even get into the parking lot haha. I'll just try to tough this pollen thing out and hope it ends soon.

Pollen-free for me! Of course... there is still snow everywhere, but that's beside the point.

I'd enjoy some snow for a few days. It would give me a great opportunity to go out and whip the car around.

The first half of spring every year has snow in ND... The second half of spring floods the entire eastern side of the state.

Get very familiar with Optimum No Rinse. Don't believe me? Start browsing the forums at:

ONR, as the call it, is THE best waterless wash available, and given the types of cars they work on, and how much the charge, you should take them seriously.

Every Spring/Summer night that I can spare, my car gets an ONR wash on the wheels and body. In that order. I believe even paimon did a DIY on it here.

ONR is pretty legit, though you have to order it online iirc
