please post pics of your radar detector...

mounted in your rx8 already. i want one that obviously works well in the rx8 and one that looks good in it!. also say what brand it is. just need one now since i work nights and when there is no traffic i am cruising around 95mph and dont even know i am going that fast..almost got a ticket but since i had scrubs on and my stethescope the cop thought i was a doctor and let me go..

For those that are implying that LASER will own you - you are completely wrong.

The number of times I've been saved when painted by LASER at super-legal speeds has more than paid for the detector.

LASER is fast, but cops are slow. It is your reaction time against his.

nothing beats your eyes unless your asleep. it detects radar signals which could be possible cops waiting for you to fall into their range.

I work nights to and its funny cause I do about 80-85 the whole way home on the highway (32 miles roughly) and generally pass the same cops everyday in the same spot. Most the time I slow down but I've gone by them before at 75-80 where is normally a 65 and they don't even budge. Often wonder if they know me by now since I pass them everyday at roughly the same time.

HAHA, I got that same feeling reading over this thread. Oh well, they are expensive but it would be nice to have for highway driving. But, for city, your eyes are the best thing against the police.
