damn it guys, now I'm actually looking into how feasible this trip would be.
GF's truck has a max towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. Hmmm....

LOL - Or fly into Newport News Jedi, and roll out with me and the fam.... Speed 6 or the Boosted 8, either way it would be a fun drive.

HOckeyRX8: the blue tape was a great idea, I wouldn't drive that far without some form of protection against rock chips.

I'm probably buying some of this soon: http://www.buyroadwrap.com/

Kane: I'm not sure if I could handle being at the dragon and not having my own car.
know what I mean?
Thanks for the invite though, I might take you up on that but if I were to go the preference would be to get my car there somehow.

Wonder what the tow capacity on my Bimmer is. Off to look I go...

edit: bmw fail.
My GF's Tacoma has a higher tow capacity then my X3.
Buddy of mine has a V8 Dodge Dakota that he NEVER drives. Maybe I can use that.

That's how many Easterners feel about SevenStock. Yea, we could fly into LAX, rent a car and go there. But, something would be missing.

yes and no Al.
SevenStock is more of a car show / meet but the highlight of this meet is one of the greatest driving roads in the country!
I could be perfectly happy at SS without my car, actually... I might not even take mine this coming year.

Here's a video I made with a little of the footage I took. The quality will improve as the processing finishes.
