Pics of painted calipers other than red?
I have seriously been thinking of painting my calipers. While red looks okay, I think yellow on my silver would look cool, or maybe some other color (maybe gold). But, before I do it, I was hoping someone had some pics of their car (or a good photoshop), preferably Sunlight Silver. I've seen only one with yellow so far on this forum and it's green, and a couple blues with blues calipers. Thanks in advance.

I like the yellow on yellow. Those rims look good...unique idea. People would love you here. Just slap a magnetic Tigerhawk on the hood and you could be the official car of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

I personally am fond of silver. Nice and clean look. Duplicolor brake caliper paint kit in silver found at your local auto store. ***yeah, yeah, I know... clear corners...***

I like the gold with darker colored cars.....I did mine in gold and they turned out really nice.....I dont think any other color would go well with black cherry.

Here's what mine looks like. I used a high temperature enamel paint (Metallic Sapphire). It's actually the stuff that you would use to paint model cars (Testors) but you have to make sure that it's the paint that can withstand firing in a kiln. The second pic gives a more accurate representation of what it actually looks like.

The more and more I think about it, the more I think I will just boldly go where it seems no one else has gone and just paint the calipers yellow. I thought about silver, but I want more contrast. I'll probably get the G2 kit.

The reason I like clear corners is because it keeps the coloring scheme consistent (mine is grey / black / white...orange just looks out of place), and it's less eye-catching. If you glance at a car with stock corners, your eyes are almost *drawn* towards the orange...ewwwww IMO.

I say do the callipers in silver and then mask out an RX-8 logo and paint it glossy black.
That'd be hot :D. I want to do that to my Winning Blue (silver w/ blue logo though).

Why would anyone paint their calipers other than Red?
Everyone knows Red is Hot and it make your car go faster.
Actually, a nice Green on the Green Mazda would look nice.
