Surprise Surprise. Got up early to head out to the big MB meet today. Was raining pretty hard so as we where leaving out I wanted to take it easy in the rain.. Going around a curve well under the speed limit and hit a patch of water.... Hydroplaned, did a few spins, slid sideways while just saying NO NO NO NO NO as I see the sign coming that is about to hit the back end of Flea.... I was told by the guy in the 8 following me I missed it by inches. Landed in the ditch of quickly rising water and was stuck in the mud. I had to sit there for over an hour while the cops and tow truck came out. Front driver side was flat, the tow guy pumped it up and followed me to the shop. They said the tire was ok and remounted it but its not. I made it to the meet 2 hours late, Flea covered in Mud and still had to add air a few times. Im calling Mazda and taking her in for a full check over for any further damage and getting new tires tomorrow.... After all my usual mishaps I had a great time at the beach meet!! Thanks to everyone who came out, even in the rain. It turned out to be a beautiful day so all you sissies who didnt come really missed out!!

Don't know if it was on purpose, but I love the whole.. Black, Blue, Yellow, Black, Blue..etc

It was also nice to see so many Yellows... (to me, anything more than 1 LY in a meet, is a lot of Yellows..lol)

I dont think anyone took pics of the carts snakebite.. Only Nuke and I had cameras and he said he didnt take any during the cart rides.

Oh no.. This was my 3rd accident in the past month. The first one was in my RX7, the next day was in another RX7 and then today was my RX8. My luck goes well beyond vehicular accidents... Did you see what I did to my eye? LOL
But at least I didnt harm anyone else and my car is ok. I am just happy noone got hurt. I guess I get all the bad luck ecause I take it as it comes and wont let it get to me.. I would gladly take it if it means others are safe

Yeah, it was cool how it turned out like that.. I was really surprised no VR's where there!

 

Pics came out good. Wish I could have stayed longer and gone to Dicks w/ everyone. I was running out of money and gas real quick though, lol. It was either be stranded and have fun or drive the 3 hours and hope I made it back.

Snake, my g/f tried to take some go-kart pics but they were blurry. I will still try and post them.

I can't wait to get another meet together and hopefully have more people show up.
