It pretty much was, the shoot took hours and there were people running round making sure everything was right and the flashes were in the right place. It was more than i was used to just to get a few pics of my car. They probably had 10-12 people there helping with every thing. It was a neat experience.

Thanks though

Go for it, I started that day thinking all i was gonna get was detailing supplies and national exposure and they threw in a bucket, and a hose.

On a serious note, i really needed a new hose. I need the bucket to but i dont think i will be using it to wash the car again, i drained one of my motorcycles gas tanks into it the other day to send the tank out for paint

One and a half car garage? One car garage and a door for the Ducati?

I wonder what those rims would look like on a VR?

They sponsored my last car by giving me free detailing supplies and admission to hot import night shows. I got that sponsorship cause im good friends with one of their graphic designers who sets up all their sport compact stuff. When he told them i got an RX8 they said they wanted it for their brochures.
Im also sponsored by Green filter, Piaa, Valvoline, Carxpressions.com, Falken and soon to have Hawk, Powerslot, and MagnaFlow as sponsors.
I get most of my sponsorships because i know the heads of most of the manufacturers. I manage a few websites that sell aftermarket wheels as well as aftermarket car and truck parts. I got lots of them simply because of my connections. On my protege i sent out sponsorship letters to all the manufacturers that i wanted parts from and was persistent. I told them who i was, what id done to the car, what i was going to do to the car and what shows i was going to attend along with a list of the shows i attended the year before. Its not that difficult but it takes patients and you have to be able to accept some rejection.

Those wheels would look great on the VR. Heres a pic of the Falken Torque 5 on my Red protege.

keep in mind this was before i had anything done to the red car.
Im a distributor from falken and am considering becoming a vendor here. If i do ill let you all know .

Wowzas--very nice. BTW, looks like they allowed the shadow of the tree to fall on the car. Any reason for that?

Cool.

Oh, and hope you didn't infringe on their copyright ownership rights by re-distributing their pics :D

These are the 4 that they gave me to use. The only commercial stuff i can use them on are my 4 websites. I can post them on the forums. They took almost 150 pics and these are the 4 that i get until everything is printed and starts being distributed.
