Pics of my pearl white RX-8 after a zaino job

Finally got some zaino and tried it out. Love the way it feels , all smooth and looks great. Put 2 coats but I dont think I did a good job buffing. O well, theres always 6 months from now to do it all again.

I've got a white 8 too. Can you really tell if you have a nice wax job?

I'm considering it, but can't seem to find the time to spend 6 hours on a nice detail.

Yea I realize its harder to tell a nice shine with a white car than like a black car or something like that. But you really notice it in certain lighting. Actually the whole process took me about 5-6 hours because I did 2 coats and this was the first time I ever used like a really good wax and actually put in alot of work to it.

I get a really awesome reflection and shine on my white with the turtle wax ice. It applies faster than anything I've ever used too.
Zaino doesn't seem worth it on the white for the whole cost & time for the outcome.

Very clean and pretty. White is so hard to show how much you have shined it up.

My box of Zanio came by UPS yesterday. I'm going to put in the 5-6 hours this weekend on my Whitewater Pearl RX8. First time ever doing this. Your photos give me real encouragement that the time and $$$ will be worth it. Maybe I can post some pics soon?

Actually, with the ZFX, Zaino is ready to be buffed off faster than you can wax the car. I'll wax the hood, wax the roof, wax the trunk, buff the hood, wax 1 side, buff the roof and trunk. Other than the first time doing it when you strip the old wax off the car, probably clar bar, and apply multiple coats, there is nothing slow about the Zaino. You can get great results with other waxes as well, but I wouldn't characterize Zaino as slow. People who use Zaino tend to be those who like spending time on the car, so that might inflate the hours spent.

Interesting. I thought it always took at least an hour after the initial prep.

I love spending time on my car too, I used to take 3-4 hours every wash and wax day just with polish and wax. The turtle wax ice stuff just impressed me so much because it's done and buffed in 15 minutes after a good wash.

Looks good. It's hard to capture the true detail of the white water pearl in photos. I'm sure it looks even more stunning in person...

Your car looks great. Even if you cant tell as much on white cars as black, at least your car has as much protection from the elements as an Zaino'd black car does. Thats the main difference between zaino and ice. Ice does not last, where as zaino keeps going strong. Also the gloss on my BB 8 from ice and zaino is not even comparable.

whites are hard to tell the shine because they don't get the deepness of the BB or NG, but yours is very clean! Could eat of it

On certain colors, the Mazda appearance package pieces don't quite match the rest of the car identically. They lack the depth of the paint job on the rest of the car when it isn't painted all at once. White is one of those colors.

You honestly cant really tell because its a lip kit really. I bought the car with everything on it brand new from the dealership so i'm not sure if it was all painted at once or put on after then painted. Either way I get what your saying but its really hard to tell. I think next time I"ll take the pics in much better lighting too. It was cloudy out when I took those pics.

From what I have read on here, I think the Appearance Pkg pieces are done completely separately and often put on by the dealer.

Slightly different shades of paint happens often with all the plastic on new cars nowadays.
