Matt RX8

I bought a new RX8 last week!!! It's a 6speed with appearance package, sport package and spare tire kit. I didn't get GT package because I didn't want the sunroof due to helmet room issues since this will be a track car. Also lighter weight without the power seats and more structural rigidity without the sunroof.

Weather here sucks so I just shot these in the driveway. Thanks for looking.
Oh, and clear corners will be ordered shortly.

It was a good time. I was suprised my Eurotek friends actaully didn't give me too much grief for buying Japanese. Most people thought the car looked much better in person than in pictures (I think the appearance package helps). Another meet this Thursday.

To each his own, Pilot. Like most here, I am not into the ricey or big wing look at all (big wing + small body size = disproportionate look), especially on the 8, but I read some of your older posts and appreciate that you make no bones about the fact that you like the rice, 2-fast-2-furious look. I don't expect you to agree with me, just like you're not trying to force us to fall in love with your tastes. I can respect that. Looking at the pics of your 8, I would only have suggested that you have done all your mods at one time rather than piece-by-piece. The 8 has such a clean look untouched that you can't really pull off the half-stock, half-riced look with this car, if any.

I'm not a big fan of the stock spoiler which is one of the reasons that I bought this black car. I think the appearance package without the spoiler is absolutely beautiful and has clean lines.

I also like the way that the plastic in the back blends into the rear much better on a black car.

Only mod that I'm considering is some clear corners. Other than that this car will stay clean. It's a track car afterall, not an HIN show car.

Nope. What does it cost installed? Does it invalidate warranty? What kind of gains can it give me?

Do a search for cost or ask your dealer. If installed by dealer their will be no warranty problems but it will cost a bit more. Their are differant claims for hp gain but the real gain is faster spool up.
