Man, what a welcome. Nice ride man. I wish I had those Mazdaspeed goodies.

I thought this was www.rx8club.com, not www.rx8sixspeedclub.com. Maybe he wanted a frickin' automatic. Its not like all of you that have 6 speeds can drive them to there limit anyway so what is the difference. If the auto had the same HP rating a lot of you would likely lose to one in a race anyway.
I love the way people buy a sixspeed and think they can drive. I can't tell you how many 6 speed rx8's I've seen run slow *** times at the track. Just because you have the sportiest model does'nt mean you are the sportiest. I watched a Chevy HHR run a faster lap time than several other sports cars. Just seems to me like your ******* on this dude when all he did was post pics of ride.

I like what i have im NOT changing it. I like the paddleshifters, its my personal preference. I enjoy this feature, than just driving stick, plus I dont have to deal with a clutch. Its a nuisance. Thats the man reason i bought it. Shiftronic. Forget the manual.

He's right just because you have a manual you think you can max out the speed on the RX8. Plus I dont have a stock base model. I added upgrades which therefore increases its power to thirty to fourty horsepower you dont know what mazdaspeeds mods will do to your car, unless you own them or experience them at firsthand The mechanics at mazdaspeed turned heads after they test drove my rx8 with there mods. They know there ****. You can handle an auto way better than handling one with a clutch. I just posted my pics thats it. Theres a big difference in speed before the mods were added just to let you know. When i rev in high gears, you better watch out, cause the onlynthing you will see is dust, and by the sound of my exhaust reving at high speeds and going over a hundred well make your ears bleed. Trust me been there did that. You need to experience for yourself dont talk if you dont no.

100dollars worth of mods... sht thats a lot hey then wonder what you'd think if u knew how much some of us have spent

anyway, congrats
I dont care how much other people spent on there mods. No i never knew its underpowered, of course I know, that why i added the mods, do you think i would of bought it if they didnt add the mods i wanted?Ofcourse its 6 speed its a 2006. The 06 auto's are six speed. I dont have 100 dollars worth of mods, i have over 2000 dollars worth of mods. They all came directly from my dealership, with the labor. Its a mazdaspeed dealership. Thats a big difference. Dont you think? Im not done with my mods yet. I only had my car for a couple days. I know its underpowered than the manual thats why i added alot of power to it. Do you still think its underpowered still?
If you were in the usa I would love to race you, if you still think my car is underpowered. Can you handle speed? I can. lol

Thanks

Them rims look tiny

Well those are stock rims. By the way buying bigger wheels, on your car you lose hp, and you also, have less control. I think mazda wanted to have the wheels that size for a purpose, dont you think? Plus I can lower the car with coilovers, more than with people who got bigger wheels. Because bigger wheels, fill up more of the gap space, as a result can cause rubbing on the axles, or damaging the springs. So if i decide to lower it with 16in wheels i got, i will have alot more of control and more room to lower, with someone with bigger wheels, and low profile tires suck. Cuz they have bad traction, and they dont drive well in bad weather.

Those mods may have added 5 hp, tops =/

Enjoy the car, but like said, sports cars are more enjoyable with a gearbox and clutch.

wow are you misinformed tone.....rather than bash you as a new guy i think we should educate you....look around this site bfore going off a little bit because most of us obviously know way more than you do about this car.....

it is some what obvious that you were naive enough to believe what the sales person told you about the hp increases...there is no way you will outhandle a sport 8 with the bigger wheels....you have too high of a sidewall on those tiny tires and you dont have the same suspension that we do...we also have bigger brakes so we can take higher speeds in the corners....

the auto you have is a 6 speed slushbox....its not a bmw smg!......you dont have 2k worth of mods....maybe installed at a very high labor rate...otherwise its about 8-900 worth of parts which together may yield you around 5whp which is still under a stock sport or gt 6mt....if you were to race a 6mt you would lose really bad unless the driver was terrible......

regardless of what you added it is a stock base model with some aftermarket.....if you were close i would love to take you for a ride in my car to show you the differences and educate you on them....i think what you have experienced here was allot of sarcasm and i was also a part of that....which i do apologize for....but before you start making more silly comments please look and learn first....and if you have any questions feel free to pm me....i would be glad to help

just be careful with posts like this b/c online you can't convey sarcasm, which i am thinking you were going for. i have a stock 8 so i'll keep my comments short but just be careful. you're just asking for a flame b/c i'm in the minority having a stock 8. these guys (and gals) on here really know their stuff and have modified theirs after being fully educated and put true performance - not dealer fed performance.

personally i prefer MT but have nothing against your preference of AT as long as you realize what you do and don't have. the 'debate' over AT vs. MT has been discussed to death in other threads so i'm not here to bash. welcome to the cult - i mean club.

if you truly do believe everything you have posted, i'm sorry to hear that but welcome to the club anyway.

Why people make silly threads all the time, what else new, on forums.

no one is saying to keep your mouth shut but try not to come off like you are all knowing about your car and big and tough....thats the first thing most people will be drawn to and will rip you apart for it....especially if they can prove you wrong.......some of the things you said may have been in jest but on a forum may come across as being serious....
