Mmmmm rx8 with a boo-boo

Well maybe buying a used MS Bumper and side Flares might be doable.

Tough part is getting the quarter panel fixed and painted correctly.

Seems like there is a lot of wheel gap on that front tire.

Any suspension damage?

Being able to do the body work yourself is handy

just had the alignment checked and suspension inspected, all is good. I guess I need to add that I work at an automotive repair facility and am a certified (not that it means anything) technician/mechanic, although I don't work in that capacity, my main function locating and buying parts. I have been doing body work and paint as a hobby for about 20 years. As for the gap I believe that is due to the severe slope of my driveway, I will get some pics on level ground.

Just to add, yes I did get it for cheap, and no I did not buy it based only on price, I also considered that I love the car. What would you consider cheap by the way?

It's a good deal if the engine has good compression. You better hit the dealer with loss of power complaints and find out (8 year 100k warranty on the engine). If compression is bad then you would have been better off finding a clean 04' with reasonable mileage or a reman in it for 6-9k.

The body work will need to be addressed by a professional, if you are a body/paint guy then fine but blending and matching SS is a PIA. Either way it will cost you a front bumper at least based on the damage I see. Fixing the rocker panel and door jam could be tricky.
