I had the day off so I decided to take some more pics.
So here's a few more for your viewing pleasure. :D

Notice how in the side on view, my suspension has settled in and the 8 now sits level front and rear.

I think they're +38mm front and back. Not 100% sure.

How wide are your tires? Do you have any clearance problems on the driveways?

235/35ZR19 front and rear.

Front lip sits pretty low but the main clearance issue is the little plastic deflectors which sit underneath the car in front of the wheels.

I scrape those everyday.

Very nice !
How much was the car lowered ?
Are you ok w/3 people in the car ?
How close is the rear tire to the wheelwell lip ?

I have the same size tires on a 19 x 8.5 39 offset.
I keep looking at the rear wheelwell lip and how close the tire is.
I am ordering the MS suspension today.. but I am paranoid about clearance.

Thanks for any info.

To answer your questions:

1.Lowered 1.0" all around with H&R Springs.
2.I've never had more than myself and the missus in the car, so don't know.
3.Clearance between top of tyre and guard lip is approx 0.75"

The MS springs should sit higher than mine since they only lower the car 0.75" whereas H&R is 1.0". Guard clearance shouldn't be an issue.

Have a look 3 posts above your one, I've got 235/35ZR19 front and rear.

BTW the black 8 w/22's belongs to a wheel shop here in Sydney Australia.
The guy in the picture is Anthony Mundine who's an Australian boxer.

Is there any 19" that are lighter than the stock 18"...

It does not matter I guess - 19" looks great.

thanks mate.
the wheels are 20 x 8.5 and the tyres are Falken Azenis ST115 measuring 245/35ZR20.
the 8 was previously lowered with 2.5 front and 2.75 rear and no rubbing, but i never had ppl at the back, so not really sure :o
no i didnt weight them, i know they will be heavier than stock, so didnt bother :D
there's performance lost, but atm its either "the look" or "the performance", i picked "the look" because there are many "forced induction" developments atm, and i want to see how reliable they are
these wheel are marketed here as "HP Hektic" :o , they wont be staying on the 8 for much longer

Why??are you going to change them??With bigger dimension or just better 20s??I am going for 19s or 20s but i am kinda worried about performance lost with 20s....I don't want to slow much down....

Here's a sneak peek of what EZZY's doing to his car:

https://www.rx8club.com/australia-new-zealand-forum-37/spotted-naked-blk-rx-8-%2A%2Awork-safe%2A%2A-44119/

This should give you an idea that his 8 is not a daily driver so he can sacrifice ride, comfort and performance for showpony looks. :p
