Today marks the 56th day with my 8, and I currently have 2600 miles on. I've been meaning to post pics for a while but for one reason or another never got around to it.. I'll start from the beginning:

1) A few days after I picked her up, bone stock:

2) Here is a few days after that:


not the best picture but I really love these wheels - Volk CE28's in Mercury silver - Fronts: 18x8.5 Rears: 18x9.5

3) And about a month after that:


yea.. she's a bit dirty.. (ran off the track)


Dropped slightly and corner balanced on Zeal Function X. (52% front, 48% rear with driver). weighted in at 2939 without driver.


That's it for now, I plan on keeping this thread updated as I progress.. however I quite like the look and feel of the car as it is so it may stay this way for a little while.. Though after a day at the track I'm heavily considering a dedicated set of track wheels..

yeah deanza parking garage is a pretty good spot for some photoshoot.
i showed up at the track that day a lil bit late n i was like ooo another ss 8!
well i work at the wheel works on prospect so if u need any tires lemme know i can usually get u a pretty damn good price

 

Those are my favorite rims on the 8 but I am not feeling those blue lug nuts.

Yea, I saw you rollin in.. and then go at it at the skid pad were you running on advanced? I didn't see you on the track

So far my favorite wheels also, I agree with the lug nuts though. I was hoping they would match the endless brakes better. "Thankfully", I lost one a few weeks ago.. looks like I need a new set!
