Actually, I do have a slight problem with the driver's side. They both went on perfect and looked great. About 24 hours later, I noticed some very mild bubbles appeared in the driver's side only. They have since reduced themselves to subtle imperfections... hopefully it will continue that way. If not, I'll buy some new adhesive and reapply it.

Yeah...I had my strakes crooked at first....my grill was wobbly, and now my B-pillars have b-cups. I suck!!!

Like all the others, give me a couple of days to gather my space, and I'll look into the problem.

did your bubbles every go away? I just did mine and have a few. They told me it would go away, but by looking at them, i dont get how it is going to go away.

If you're talking about the bubbles in the tint- yes- they disappeared in about 48 hours. If you're talking about the b-pillars, the one side I had slight bubbling in has all but disappeared after several weeks.

Yea, i was talking about tints. Sorry. It's been two days and the bubbles are still there. There are like 3 in my rear back window. The curves made it hard. But the bubbles are making me angry. Hopefully time lets them go away. Does anyone know exactly how time allows them to go away?

Keep it out in the sun as much as possible so the water can evaporate. My back window looked like absolute **** when I picked it up- I didn't believe them that it would go away. Two days after tinting my car was parked outside on display at the Rev it up event, and they all disappeared after that.

Thanks- the black looks so damn good when clean, but its so hard to keep it that way. Here's one of my favorites after I detailed it...

That's something I hadn't considered. I know black is hard to keep clean but how hard is it keeping the 8 clean with all of the curves and crevices? Easier/Normal/Harder than average?

I don't think it's any harder than other cars I've had to deal with- with the exception of the front flared fenders, the sheet metal is fairly flat, making it an easy car to wax. We've got really hard water out here in the burbs, so my biggest pet peeve is after I've cleaned it water will drip from the side mirrors, out of the port window edges, and from under the bumper edge and leave water marks, which really shows up on the black.

Somebody on this board turned me onto Zino Bros. coating instead of your regular wax. Made a world of difference. My black 8 is a lot blacker for it. Washing was still the problem because of the harsh water. Found an answer from Target from all places.

I swear by Mr. Clean AutoDry system. It uses a filter to mist your car after the rinse with absolutely clean water. Dries by itself without leaving a single spot on your car.

No I don't get a commission for this. Just more head turns.
