Pic Request: RX8 with H-tech Tein springs installed
Hi fellas. I'm going crazy trying to decide what to do here. I want to keep a relatively comfy ride, but I also want to lower my ride for appearance sake. Can anyone help me out?
Looking for pics that show off your H-tech spring drop.. or perhaps you eibach drop. Thanks

Look in the suspension section, DPE has a couple pics of their Ti car with the H techs and Koni's. And you could always ask them how they like it, or if they have any other pics.

I have had great response from them for the couple of questions I have asked them. You could try sending a PM to olddragger, he just installed them on his car, not sure if he has any pics yet. He wrote a couple good reviews on them too.

Check out page two of this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...6&page=1&pp=40. That has a picture of our Ti RX-8 with the H-Techs taken from the side, as well as some commentary about various springs, etc.
We really like the H-Techs. Only about 15% stiffer, so you retain a decent ride, but stiff enough and enough lower to notice a nice difference in handling and to eliminate the fender well gap. Pair with a good shock, like the Konis for example, and it really noticeably improves the car all around without really diminishing the ride quality too much (I think it cleans up the ride nicely with a firmer and more controlled ride, while others think it's a little bit harsher, so your mileage may vary).

I was looking into a drop also. I'm debating on the H-techs but I kind of like more of a drop like with the S-techs but I don't want to scrape everywhere I go either. I also have 19s so if anyone has any good pics w/ 19s and either the h/s techs, I would love to check them out. I know the diameter of my new wheels/tires is less then 3/4 inches taller so that may also make a difference.
