Pic Request: Rota Slipstreams

hate all you want, but i'm thinking about buying some and making them my winter wheels, should i drive at all this winter.

does anyone have a pic? i'm kind of worried about how they'll look, since they're so edgy and straight and the RX-8 is so curvy.

Is it me, or does that Miata look like someone put a toy car on pavement, then took a close up picture.

yeah yeah yeah.

we all know.

i'm using these as my winter wheels, which might see 50 miles in two weeks time. i'm not really worried about it.

by the way, that picture first sourced on honda-tech years ago and it is the result of an accident (sliding into a curb).

I find that hard to believe due to the lack of any body damage around the wheel well

well, you can go right on over to honda-tech and search through posts that were made three years ago, then.

this is my car. the damage you see was caused by a direct sideways collision with a curb. no body damage resulting from this portion of the crash..

No, it's not funny. I'm sure it wasn't funny to you at the time (as it wasn't when I had a similar problem years ago).

I had two ways to go with my response: "Aww man, that sucks"; or what I said. As long as no one is hurt, I usually respond with a look at the lighter side. I'm not slagging you, or what got you to that situation. It's just a wheel. They make new ones.

Sorry if you got offended.

eh im not offended i just questioned the humor. unfortunately it wasnt just the wheel. that wheel hit the curb. the other wheel hit the telephone pole. was just pointing out that there was no body damage from a curb impact, as doubting thomas had so skeptically mentioned above
