I'm looking for a little subtler 2 tone job than most. Intead of two wildly contrasting colors, I'm thinking black with dark grey, or something like that. I want to utilize sweeping curves across the sides like the red/black one from the album, but the line should cut across lower than that car had. Used Microsoft Paint to draw some rudimentary lines on a red/black pic to estimate where the lines should be. But I really do need someone with photoshop skill and their own artistic inclination to fill in the gaps in my thinking.

Unless you're going to link me specific pics that you think look like what I described, telling me to search is no help. Simply pass over this thread and do not respond intead of taking the time to tell me that. So far, all the two tones I've seen aren't what I'm looking for. I need to do this right so the shop will in turn do it right.

You need to learn to search. You know, in your spare time, whatever, do a little search here and there.....

Dude, those exact pictures are already in the album I linked. I've seen them. I've described them and how I want it to be different from those. They are great pics, but I have them. I HAVE searched, I just haven't seen what I'm looking for, and am asking for someone with experience to PM me. Maybe ill just PM this Zukini fella

 

so alfy's PS didn't do it for you? are you sure? maybe you didn't look at the unicorn from the right angle. try tilting your screen a little bit.

In that picasa web album I linked further up, there is a red/black RX8 with the paint going in like a sweeping curve across the side. I was thinking something like that, but have the color change sweep across lower than that one did, using the curves of the fenders, side skirts, etc.

I made a very crude edit to the pic in Paint and added it to that album too to give an idea of what I meant.

But I do like that fade idea too.
