I don't think Nuke would appreciate you making an abomination out of his beautiful ride. That would ruin the structural integrity of the car anyway so it's really possible to do it that way and retain the handling and crash integrity.

 

My opinion...ugly. Maybe shaving the top rear end... maybe okay.

Google Images is Public Domain. Any website that submits itself to Google for indexing is sure to be aware of this.

Now Google "2004 rx8" and check out what you find on page 4.

I don't even know who Nuke is, the fact that you mentioned him "not appreciating" a photoshop mod of one of his pictures is a coincidence.

Also, publicly defaced pictures? Get serious. No wonder you have 1,000x as many posts as me, they are meaningless

any picture posted/uploaded/shared on the interweb becomes public domain. Unless it is other wise copy right protected under the FCC rules and regs... I know got into a fight over a photo that i uploaded that was in turn used on two cartuner websites for parts pictures.
my photo was quickly copy-protected and the sites where made to take them down....

but to remove a photo say from googles web crawler.. good luck....

T-top would work better IMO as you would weld the rear doors (no more back seat) and when reconstruting the roof, making the rear where the rears meat the Top part of the t... It can be done (i've seen it done on DSM's and others) just its going to take some $$$ and time.

 

Thanx for the reply... I just had a lack of imagination and couldn't picture the car as a targa top... buy I deff understand the time and $... everthing on this car is $$$ and time < not complaining... well a lil. But u r absolutely right

I can see that being 2700 pounds maybe a lil less... 50/50 weight... even with current engine that **** would move quicker. It would be as nimble as a miata... christ.

Or hell, throw the new 16X in there. Its the same size anywayz. 300hp in that thing? Sign me up.
