I don't think there is anything wrong with them, its just a particular style, but it does have a bit of an overprocessed look to them. Some people like them while others don't care for it. But, I just put up a thread yesterday with some photos that I used an HDR technique to as well if you're interested in checking them out.

I'm just an amateur when it comes to photography but after playing with various methods in achieving HDR effects in my pictures, I've found my old photos used to have that look but I began to take more exposures than I used to with a closer exposure value spacing. I used to take 3 pics spaced 2EV apart but now I use 9 exposures spaced out 1EV apart and it takes some of the graininess out of the photos when you post-process. I'm not sure how you do your HDR exposures but its something to try if you'd like.

RX8 and a Truk....
good composition mostly - what I see on this monitor, however, is sort of a grainy look. Maybe they are simply over-sharp? I do see tons of processing. I wonder how the pics would look if you didn't do the HDR affect? Did you used the HDR to compensate for otherwise poor exposure? I get the impression you shot them to 'look HDR' - not to use HDR to bring out details otherwise-missed?

Decent shots, but too much post effects for my taste.
Though i've done it in the past, i don't like the cartoon look of HDR. When used subtly it can look great though.
Nice effort anyway.
I at the fwd burnout pics.

What I meant is basically what fuz and dmp said. It's too much IMO, although there are some good pics there. As for HDR, I would never have known ac3mastuh's shots were HDR so I think that is probably the look I would go for if i used HDR. But what the hell do I know, I just point and shoot

I really like to post process my images , especially night shots. As for HDR I really love the effect but I'm also new to it so I cant really get as pure of a image that I want especially at night. That was my first attempt at photography after couple months break. As for FWD burnout.... he's a dork lol but it was still cool get together and decent photoshoot.
