How badass would it be if there was a front rx7 conversion kit for the MX-5.

Don't know where you bought ur car from since you are at Ottawa, I'm gonna guess you got it from Bank St. Mazda... you should get ur factory wheels back because the memo from Mazda Canada to all Mazda dealers stated that "this is an EXTRA pkg that will be included in the new RX8s and there will be NO cost to dealers except for the installation labour which will be a dealer-participation cost"

are you serious? do you have a written document that says that? i would really appreciate it.

Zero, Jurassic... I pm'd PierreB over on the Ottawamazda boards about the situation and this is the reply I got:

There is no memo I can print out due to the fact that t is just for the dealer.

But the dealer have to give the people their stock RX-8 wheels and mazdaspeed wheels since it was a promotion sale.
He works at a dealer in QC...

my advice, forget about the appearance package. just buy yourself a good set of springs like tanabe gfs or tein s-techs. your car will definitely
look better slammed than just the body kit alone.

those rims look good enough for your 8. just stick with it. say no to bronze or chrome rims, they don't complement your color.

edit: take off the front splash guards

if you're going to change rims anyway, the next best thing would be gunmetal gray like those Volk racings which are very costly.

i honestly think only 2 rim colors (silver, gunmetal gray) will bring out the class in a stormy blue. other colors tend to "clash" with it.

black rims and darker gray will make the car too dark overall in my own opinion.

Isnt the appearance package suppose to include side aero flares? You gotta get those man, front mud guards and no side flares...looks a lil naked, LOL
