I was walking around my campus when I stumbled upon this catastrophe. Honestly, its license plate is PEACOCK. I didn't have time to take more pictures but I'm pretty sure it had a purple interior. And yes, it IS a 6spd.

I can't believe I am saying this, but it would almost be an improvement if they replace the chrome strakes with some lime green strakes.

Please.....as a public service please write "rx8club.com" on a piece of paper and stick it on their windshield in hopes they may come in here and realize how ridiculous it is. And with any luck they might sign on and defend it so we can ask what the hell they were thinking.

Okay....."CAMPUS" tells me you are probably in college, which means the owner of this rx8 is in college.

I see a good opportunity for someone on the board to buy this car and modify it.

Odds are the car will be on the market within the next 1-4 years for a cheap price waiting for mods. (1-4 years depending on if he is a freshman or senior) because upon graduation he will realize he cannot drive a video game car in the real world after he gets a job and need to sell it quick. The ugliness of it will drive the price way down. You'll get it cheap.

Worst case: He is a grad student: 8 more years to wait to pick it up cheap.

Worst/Worst case: This moron will quit school and be back home living with his parents and will never sell the car.

 

Oh, Gawd, it even has a lime green spoiler.

Totally unacceptable,,,, there is only one way that is acceptable, on the track.... Ive seen it before, cars use brightly colored splitters and skirts, then take pics and vids of the car going around high and low speed corners,,,, the bright colors help them to measure angles of body roll, oversteer and understeer....
But thus a campus is not a race track................
