I've been busy for the past week. Me and the wifey parted with the RX8 and purchase a MazdaSpeed 3. Rotary engine will be missed, but it wasn't hard switching over to an speed3.

It actually has a really smooth ride to it. The low end power is nice to have compared to the 8, however a turbo on the 8 would have sovled this problem. Being in guam and the 8 heading out of warranty while I am at sea for most of the time. I wanted to get a car that my wife could just take into the dealer under warranty if any issue was to arise since there isn't anyone in guam that can really work with rotaries. Lack to tuners and dynos on the island, turbo charging the 8 wasn't an option.

I will be back in the rotary family here though, just the time isn't right for one yet.

Yeah, it is a nice car. Too bad, the guy I sold the car to wreck the front the end not too long ago.

Yeah, 2010 model sounds like its gonna be nice, however, I don't expect to see it in guam for a bit. Also, the guy that bought the car pony up the money the I wanted for the 8. Also, I got a really sweet deal on the car fully loaded (last one on the lot without any coming on the next shippment), so I couldn't pass up the deal.

XDEEDUBBX, don't feel bad about the choice you made. The Rx8 is a great also, just throw a turbo on that thing, and trust me it will fly.

 

haha forget the turbo! im already on my 2nd motor, hahaha and i live in so cali so the law is an issue..

I advise people all the time not to buy the RX8! hahhaah

 

hahaha nice cory...but was it a trade in? dang i couldve gotten me some parts haha my brothers got the 3 also and i have to admit its smoother on guams roads...
